Oversight for transportation and infrastructure projects
In addition to quarterly reporting to the Office of Management and Budget, the state Department of Transportation (WSDOT) also is required by law to regularly update the U.S. Department of Transportation on Washington’s use of transportation Recovery funds.
Both WSDOT and the state Department of Ecology also submit regular reports to the U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, which provides Congressional oversight for Recovery-funded transportation and clean water projects.
